Syncing it to my Switch Lite took about 20 seconds, and the button layout feels just like the Pro controller but with that funky Donkey Kong styling. Battery life has been solid through a few long Splatoon sessions, and the wireless range reaches across my living room without any drops.
The barrel-shaped grips fit my hands perfectly, and the button layout feels just like the Pro controller without the hefty price tag. Hooked it up to my Switch OLED in seconds and played through two hours of Mario Kart with zero lag or connection drops.
I was a little worried the Donkey Kong graphics would rub off after heavy use, but they’re printed under the clear coat and look sharp after two weeks of daily Splatoon. It pairs instantly with my Switch Lite and the battery life has been way better than I expected—I’ve only charged it twice.
